Tea Dances have long been at the heart of the gay community and an important part of gay culture. So, we are very excited to bring you the Anne Lister Festival’s version of our Regency Tea Dance, which will pay homage to both Anne Lister and the wider struggle that our community has faced and still does in so many places.
This will be an informal dance led by the newly formed Anne Lister Dancers as their inaugural event and called by Lottie Adcock (Dance the Past). Everybody is welcome and the choice of what to wear is yours: come along in your finest period dress or dress down in jeans and a shirt. As this is a regency dance you don’t need a partner either, so just come along and have some fun!
Buffet food included in ticket price. Free water available, as well as a bar selling bottled alcohol and accepting cash or card. Tickets £19.50.
